PRESSING & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Follow these simple steps to ensure that your DTF transfers look professionally pressed each time.
1. Position Your Design
Position the transfer where you want it and avoid pressing on large wrinkles. When pressing on hats, or using a household steam iron, heat-resistant tape will help prevent the transfer from shifting. Experience will teach you when to use it.
2. Press
Apply medium-high pressure to the transfer while it is at 310°F / 155°C with medium to high pressure for 13 to 15 seconds. Always test on one piece. Use a Teflon sheet in order to prevent your garment from coming into contact with the iron.
Reduce the pressure first if you are experiencing scorching of the garment. If this doesn't work then keep the pressure reduced and lower the heat by 10 to 15 degrees. You'll soon find out the best settings for your garments and materials with a little bit of practice.
3. Peel Hot after a Few seconds
You can peel either hot or cold with our Easy Peel Technology. Peel after a few seconds or more! If the design is not sticking to certain parts, press down again and add heat (+15°F) with increased pressure. If you are still having trouble, try increasing the heat by increments of 15°F.
4. Final Press and Wash Instructions
Cover the design after the transfer is complete with the provided Teflon sheet, or with a single layer t-shirt fabric, and press it for about 15 seconds. This will increase the value of the product, as it increases the durability and softness while reducing the shine.
Wash the garment in cold water inside out and then dry it on low heat, or let it air dry.
Recommended Tip: It will last longer if you use Liquid Detergent with cold water.
